Below I have assembled a list of some things to consider to help guide you when trying to narrow down that perfect name for your little one.
- Are there any negative associations with this name?
- What will the Initials be?
- How will the name be perceived when your child grows up?
- Does it sound too far outside the box?
- Does it sound too common?
- Do you want the name to have a nickname?
- Is there someone in your circle that already has the name?
- Do you even care for the meaning behind the name?
You will have many opinions thrown your way about the names you have selected, and this may cause you to second guess yourself. Sometimes it can be good to have somebody around to discuss your choices, but ultimately it should come down to your own decision.
